David’s adventure in traditional craft began over 20 years ago when he took his first class in woodcarving.  He has been a student of “everything Scandinavian” ever since, with particular focus on spring pole lathe, Norwegian knife making, green woodworking, blacksmithing and skinnfjell.  He has had amazing opportunities to learn from international instructors from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and England.  David is eager to share his interests and demonstrates at Nordic Fest, ASI Midsommer, Hostfest and the Midwest Viking Festival.
