Carol is a retired school teacher. As a way to relax and maintain her calm, easy-going personality (read therapy!) she became a "hooker" when a friend taught her to hook rugs in 1989. In the years since then, Carol has attended many hooking retreats and workshops, has taught hooking to friends and family members, and has taught both beginning and intermediate classes. Carol and her husband, Bart, have been coming to Grand Marais on their summer vacation for many years.
