Annie learned to knit at the age of 8 when she attempted her first lumpy "Moose Sweater." She has been intrigued with traditional Scandinavian knitting techniques ever since. Coming from a background in math and science, the melding of color and pattern, structure and function inherent in knitting, her craft has provided her with decades of learning that she loves to share.

Annie lives in Grand Marais and when she isn’t knitting she loves to hike, ski and paddle with her partner Joe and dog Angus.
