North House Folk School

Alex is happiest when she’s learning new skills, creating functional objects, and exploring outside.  She’s honored to be part of a lineage of relatives and ancestors that work with their hands, craft and tinker.  Keeping with tradition, Alex started crafting as a child and continues to dedicate herself to refining her craftsmanship.

Alex works as North House’s Classroom Manager. Before finding her way to the North Shore, Alex worked as a white water raft guide, ranch hand, massage therapist, organic farmworker and carpenter.  In her free time you'll find her wandering in the woods, singing, reading books and making things.
