This course will provide students (potential builders) with a step by step process of the design and construction of a 5’x10’ portable house with material costs under $3,000. The aim is to encourage participants to design and eventually build their own home with the information and experiences provided. The course is geared towards those with limited resources or who have an interest in living simply, leaving a lighter footprint. The expectation is for students to commit to all ten sessions.
