Course Overview

This is a great beginners project for those with an interest in weaving with barks. Learn multiple skills and make a useful pouch. Students will use harvested and prepped willow and cedar barks as spokes and weavers while learning twill weave and twining skills, cordage and border finishes. Bring along felt, threads, fabric, buttons, gems or other artifacts to personalize your project. This class is open to students ages 14 and up to work independently on a project.

  • All required tools will be provided by the instructor.
