Course Overview

In this course, students will learn to make felt straps, cords, spikes, pockets, and buttons. Beginning with just fluffy wool, students will fully integrate these objects into wet felting projects. Plan and make a small 3D project in class with a choice of elements -- something like a pouch, a holder for a can or water bottle, or a tiny soft sculpture. Students will learn from their fellow students’ projects as well as their own, and leave with lots of ideas and the skills to create bigger, more complex projects. Felting beginners are welcome, along with those looking to grow their skills.

Youth ages 8+ may register if accompanied by an adult. Adult/child pairs will complete two projects and pay two materials fees. A 25% tuition discount applies to the youth registrant when registering with a full paying adult; call to register.
