Learn the art of coiling a beautiful sweetgrass basket. Hands-on instruction provides students with an introduction to the traditions and skills of basket weaving, and a discussion about how to identify sweetgrass and gather materials for future projects. This course welcomes students ages 16+ to register on their own. Youth ages 14-15 may register if accompanied by an adult. Adult/child pairs will complete two projects and pay two materials fees. A 25% tuition discount applies to the youth registrant when registering with a full paying adult; call to register.
