Shades of November: Long Exposure Photography

Course Overview

November can be a drab and windy month. While it is the stormiest month on Lake Superior, explosive waves don’t happen every day. When the waves are low and the sky is gray, it’s hard to get motivated to get outside and take pictures. Change that perspective with long exposure photography. In this class, you’ll learn to make long exposures, how best to shoot them, and how to use the filters to make them. You’ll need a 5-stop (or 6-stop) and a 10-stop ND filter. A 3-stop reverse ND grad is also handy. When you sign up for the class, you’ll get a discount code to save 10% off of Singh-Ray filters, but any brand will work for the class.
