Course Overview

Rosemaling means "rose painting" in Norwegian, and is done in many styles reflective of specific regions in Norway. In this course, participants will be able to choose whether they wish to begin a project in the Telemark or Valdres style (beginners welcome in either style) or bring an unfinished object to complete. Plenty of one-on-one instruction and guidance is provided. Note: the materials fee will vary based on what supplies a student needs the instructors to supply, including brushes. This will be determined in conversations prior to the course and will be payable to the instructor during class.
