Traditional Crafts

Puzzles in Wood and String

Course Overview

Winter in the North is long. Chase away any winter blahs with the perfect fireside occupation: making brain-twisting, mind-bending puzzles! Using natural materials, colorful paints, and braided yarns, students will make a series of entanglement puzzles, using both traditional and hand tools. This course offers a buffet of skills and techniques using a broad spectrum of materials. The result? Quirky puzzles for the amusement (and frustration) of friends and enemies alike.
