Course Overview

When you combine the autumn nights, the North Shore of Lake Superior, and a passion for photography, something interesting and beautiful is bound to happen. In this course, you’ll join professional photographer, Bryan Hansel in the darkness to capture images of star trails and the moon over Lake Superior. During the night we'll also experiment with low-level lighting and other lighting techniques. The course starts with a presentation and then heads out into the field after twilight and stays out until after midnight. We’ll meet up mid-morning the next day for an image review session. It’s certain to be an unforgettable experience.
