Course Overview

Learn to embroider jeans, knitting, and anything else in need of embellishment! We’ll cover all the basic stitches needed in this course, focusing on free-form embroidery with thread and wool yarn. We’ll be inspired by traditional styles from Scandinavia, Japan, and beyond. We’ll sample different techniques and materials, and cover tips for planning and transferring designs. Come prepared to experiment, have fun, and begin to develop your own personal embroidery style. Expect to leave with plenty of ideas and techniques to help add unique & decorative stitching to any subsequent project.
