Course Overview

Inspired by traditional wirework, instructor Faith Clover has developed a whimsical project that flies in a new direction, so to speak. Using wire and pliers, students will construct a bird sculpture using new techniques of bending and twisting wire. Students will be encouraged to take their work in a creative directions, inspired by images and utilizing a variety of colors of wire. A flight of fancy? Perhaps, but this will prove to be a fun project. Students should have prior experience with wire work.
