Kids Only - Let Us Be Seated: Build a Folding Stool
Course Overview
Have a seat, make and seat, and bring it home with you! First discovered in Denmark, this folding stool is designed for carrying from place to place in the northern landscape: from sitting by a campfire to picking blueberries, there’s always a need to sit a spell. Students will learn about chair history, components and woodshop tools while practicing basic woodworking skills.
This class is for kids only, ages 7+.

Required
You will need the following tools for this class:
Students should wear close-toed shoes.
All required tools/materials are provided by your instructor and North House and will be available once the course begins.
Optional Tools
Feel free to bring your favorite tools and whatever materials you might feel appropriate for this course.
