Course Overview

A beautiful and sturdy leather tote can last a lifetime. This class will introduce leatherworking skills and design techniques that may be applied to a variety of future projects. In this class, we will make a hand-stitched leather tote-perfect for toting a laptop or several books. The finished bag will measure approximately 18"x12" in size. Customization can be discussed, and additional pockets or strap enhancements can be considered for an additional materials fee. This class is ideal for beginners, but requires good hand strength. Students aged 16+ may register for this course independently. Students aged 13-15 may register with a full-paying adult. The youth student will receive a 25% intergenerational discount; call to register.
