Course Overview

The North House Blacksmith Shop excites the curiosity of adults and kids alike—hammers pound, sparks fly, and red-hot metal becomes a fire poker, hook, or other tool right before their eyes. Try your hand at the forge in this family class as kids and adults work together to craft simple items and get a sense for this ancient trade. The tuition rate covers a maximum of three people working together, either one adult with one or two children, or two adults working with one child. Children must be at least 10 years old to participate in this course
