A Season to Turn, Turn, Turn

Course Overview

To everything, turn, turn, turn. There is a season, turn, turn, turn. And that season is gift making time! Spend two days making a selection of gifts on the lathe: rolling pins, egg cups, krumkake forms, spinning tops, and candle sticks. These are great projects to build foundational skills as a turner. Students will learn to cut cleanly with good form, and leave with handmade gifts to start the holiday season. This course is open to students ages 14+, and no prior experience wood turing is required.
