Willow basketry is a traditional skill found throughout the world. This class will focus on a lunch basket about 14" x 14" made of brown willows (bark on). All students will leave the class with a completed basket, some knowledge of willow cultivation and harvesting, basketry history, and the skills to weave another basket on their own. Students must sign up at least three weeks prior to class date to allow for gathering of materials.
