Come celebrate Earth Day at North House! In the Fall of 2011, the bulldozers moved in, the asphalt moved out, and the campus of North House was forever transformed. The new Outdoor Commons space, part of the Raise the Roof campaign, has been patiently waiting under the snow, ready to be filled with happy students and their families all spring and summer long. However, the best part is yet to come. This April, we have truckloads of shrubs, trees and perennials arriving, ready to Green the Campus! Come join us for a weekend of planting, painting, and sprucing, as we get ready to dedicate the new commons the summer of 2012. The weekend will feature a variety of volunteer projects (both outdoor and indoor as weather permits) for people of all ages to dig into, as well as pizza, movie night and great camaraderie as we green-up and clean-up our beautiful new space.
