Any place where there are sheep and chilly temperatures, people have taken advantage of woolen fibers to create objects for warmth, protection and beauty. With instructor and fibers artist Elise Kyllo, you will create your own whimsical project using colorful wool roving, soapy water and agitation. Learn the basics of felting and craft a small pocket purse or a sculptural ornament to take home. Elise will also discuss how this process can be transferred to other projects, such as slippers, hot pads, scarves and sculptural three dimensional projects.
