In this class Alan will explore the issues in hollowing end-grain (the most common type of turned lidded boxes) as well as consider the face-grain turned box. Students will have the opportunity to turn between three and four boxes over the three day course. There will also be the chance to try hand-chased threads as one of the types of fits on a box.
