A busy blacksmith shop means a need for lots of tools! In this service learning course, students will focus on building out our supply of tongs, crafting a variety of sizes. As time allows other tools, such as hammers, chisels and punches, will be fashioned as well. Under the guidance of instructors Dave Hanson and Cody Myers, you’ll make lasting and practical contributions to our shop that will be appreciated for years to come. Use your existing skills, or learn a few new tricks of the trade. Your registration fee includes a daily lunch.
