These beautiful jackets are patterned after traditional garments created by Swedish farmers. Each jacket is made from washed and felted wool and has its own unique Scandinavian flair with clasps, buttons, trim and ribbons accentuating the simple lines. In this course you’ll create a child-sized jacket or vest to ensure enough time to complete the project. Historically multiple sets of sleeves were knit for each jacket to extend its useful life, and you’ll also learn techniques both for knitting sleeves and creating felted wool sleeves.
