Set sail on Lake Superior for a one of a kind adventure that only a schooner can provide. Our destination will be set after consulting the weather forecast to ports on the western half of the big lake…..an archipelago of ‘jewels:' the Apostle Islands, a wilderness island: Isle Royale or the sandy beaches of the South Shore are all possibilities. Long, off-shore sailing and the possibility of night sails are just some of the unique attributes of sailing on the largest freshwater body in the world. Participants will learn natural and nautical sciences and there will be time to explore our destination by hiking or dinghy. Good food, good winds, good fun! Course tuition includes food and lodging throughout the course. This course is limited to five people. Separate tuition payment and cancellation policies apply to this course.
