Always had a hankering to spin a rope? Lasso a steer? We can't promise a steer, but you can learn to build your own trick rope and try your hand at spinning a Western-style lasso. In this half-day class, each student will build 2 ropes, one small nylon 'easy spin' & one 15' cotton gen-u-ine cowgirl(boy) trick rope. Students will have the option of making a 24' Sampson Red Spot as well. The instructor will also dig into the history of Western rope-making. After a little practice you will master the Flat Spin & you'll be on your way. Stray northern cattle, look out!
