The hand-cut quill pen is a supreme writing and drawing instrument, unrivaled for sensitivity, expressiveness, versatility (and of course, light weight). In this workshop we’ll learn how to make the necessary quill knife. Goose primary feathers will be soaked and cured, then cut into pens. Also covered will be the technique used to add an ink reservoir to the pens.
