Pysanky: Making Ukrainian Dyed Eggs
Course Overview
Celebrate Easter or the coming of spring with the ancient tradition of decorating eggs. Ukrainian eggs are made using a wax-resist method similar to batik. Each student may make up to four traditional patterns, combining traditional elements, or using the technique to create your own works of art.
