Ready to make a unique and artistic statement? Using a historic hand operated proof press with metal type, students will create a unique and artistic business card. Put on the printing apron, prepare your ink and become both typesetter and printer just like in the old days before the computer. You will also have an opportunity to carve a small rubber stamp to add art to your business cards. This course explores the history of printing ranging from stone tablets to wood cuts.
