With an introduction to bog ecology this course focuses on two lesser known and identified creatures: dragonflies and spiders, a specialty of your guides. You'll be able to identify and observe these ‘winged-jewels’ and ‘harmless creatures’ in their natural environments, you'll observe and catch spiders, study their web patterns and discover which families of spiders are more commonly seen. Handcraft your own ‘naturalists’ net and capture dragonflies mid-flight for identifying and releasing purposes.
