It's a rare opportunity to spend the day paddling in unison with the humble, yet tremendously gifted, legend of canoe country, Garrett Conover. This is a casual paddle where conversations will be as loose and flexible as the route we choose. In this context-based learning environment, topics covered include canoe design, trim, paddling and wind strategies. Garrett will share his approach to visiting the northern boreal forest, including what he's learned while staying with families in the Canadian bush country. Tandem canoeing is strongly encouraged and we will work as a group to pair up solo canoeists. Beginners and advanced paddlers welcome. Participants are required to bring canoes.
