Creating music in nature will be the focus of this course - watery places, bugs, weather, trees and rocks are the elements that students will explore in five course segments. Instruments will be created using assorted materials and played with interpretation. Creative movement will be explored while storytelling, dramatization and singing will also be integrated into the experience. Music appreciation will include music by Grieg and other Scandinavian musicians. For ages 4-7 accompanied by an adult. This course is being offered in five segments. Each segment is a 1/2 day long. Adult/child pairs are encouraged to sign up for as many segments as they see fit. Tuition and materials based on length of course: 0.5 Day - $35 per adult/child pair (tuition); $10 (materials) 1 Day - $60 per adult/child pair (tuition); $15 (materials) 2.5 Day - $100 per adult/child pair (tuition); $20 (materials)
