Does the child in your life love to collect stones, coins, or other magical objects? Come to North House Folk School and sew a charming leather shoulder bag to keep these treasures safe on your hikes. Picture and alphabet stamps will be available to customize your work, and all materials will be prepared ahead of time, ready to assemble in class. This is an excellent way to introduce children to the joy of making useful and beautiful handmade objects.

Children need enough dexterity to thread blunt needles through large pre-punched holes, or to have an adult buddy who can help them. Adult/child pairs will complete one project and pay one materials fee. Open to children ages 4-6.
