Learn the basic design and construction techniques for making a landscape wall hanging quilt. In order to create your pictorial quilt, a variety of surface design, fabric manipulation and sewing machine applique techniques will be covered along with use of fusible web and fabric pens. Participants will explore mixing various techniques in order to achieve the right look for their quilt. The average quilt size produced in this class is 16” x 20”. Students are encouraged to bring a landscape photo to use as their inspiration.
