In this class students will explore the principle forces that allow kites to function, while drawing up and constructing a classic kite design. We will discuss the origins of wind while learning how to lash together our bamboo spars. By the end of class students will have time to decorate and bring their kites to life. Lastly, weather and time permitting, class will conclude with their first flight! This class is for kids only, ages 7-10.

Skills helpful for class: Students should be able to follow instructions to tie a basic granny knot.
