The art of improvisation is a mystery, even to many musicians, but improvisation can be practiced in many different styles, including Irish music. In this workshop, Zack will lead a diverse group of instrumentalists in exploring both the techniques and mental approaches to improvisation in a variety of musical styles. You should have previous musical experience, but no improvisation experience is necessary. This class is open to players of all melody instruments, but highly recommended for fiddle players.
