Make your own kitchen utensils and utility ware including French rolling pins, spatulas, mortars & pestles, as well as other tools. Students will learn tool use, cuts and sharpening while making projects. By the end of class, you’ll know all the parts of the lathe and how to use it safely as well as how to gather, cut and prepare your own wood for turning. Your materials fee includes all wood for projects plus individual lathes and set of tools.
