Guitars and fingers are invited! Bill Cooley has played guitar with Kathy Mattea for 18 years. He has also toured and recorded with Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Hal Ketchum and Merle Haggard. He brings a lifetime of experience as a sideman to this acoustic guitar workshop, covering a wide range of styles and techniques. Fingerpicking and flatpicking, accompaniment and solo, arranging and improvising, standard and open tunings, as well as their application on the stage and in the studio. Bring your guitar (and your questions) for some hands-on individual instruction during the second half of the class.
