Under sail on the North House schooner, explore the use of schooners for trade and transportation as the pioneer spirit moved westward and the shore of Lake Superior was settled. Study the routes, cargoes, and fates of these early vessels while experiencing the techniques of sail handling and operations of the schooner Hjørdis. Lunch is provided.
