Felt a pair of personalized holiday stockings big enough to be filled with presents or treats from Santa, and make a number of holiday ornaments. These items make lovely gifts or they can be added to your holiday decoration collection.  

For the stockings, we will wet-felt colorful wool over a resist, making two durable stockings that may be treasures that will last a lifetime. Personalize them with a name or decorations using needle felting or prefelt designs. You may choose to continue making stockings or get creative with an assortment of needle felted and wet felted holiday ornaments. Elise will come with ideas and examples to guide students creating ornaments of their dreams.  

The materials fee covers all needed materials for two stockings and three ornaments. Additional projects are an option for additional fees paid directly to the instructor in class.

Students age 12+ may sign up for this course.

Required Tools 

• Bring a plastic bag to bring wet projects home

• Two towels, hand towels are useful as well as large bath towels. 

• Plastic bubble wrap (if you have it and want to reuse it)

Optional Tools

• Feel free to bring an assortment of yarns, wool, holiday bells, eyes etc. for the ornament making creative time!
