K-12 teachers are invited to participate in this 3-credit, graduate level summer course to increase awareness and understanding of Lake Superior and its freshwater environment, and to enrich laboratory and field teaching techniques through diverse experiences in this aquatic environment. The Hjørdis, our sailing vessel serves as an experiential classroom. Graduate credit is offered through the University of Minnesota-Duluth (tuition includes housing on the Hjørdis and all meals while on board. Does not include cost of graduation credits or materials).
