Dive in and get to know the largest freshwater lake in the world firsthand. In this course we combine exciting, hands-on ‘laboratory’ work – including the dissection of a fish - with a 2-hour sailing adventure aboard the Hjørdis collecting ‘data’ on the big lake. Explore the natural communities that inhabit Lake Superior, the related areas of meteorology, geology and geography, and discuss the impacts that cultural and economic activity have had on the Lake.
