Yes, it is summer but you will need the time to design and knit that sweater inspired by all that is North House, the North Shore and the Boundary Waters. Students will work on swatches that can be incorporated in a knitted item such as a sweater. (Directions for a basic sweater will be provided, or we can help with designing your own pattern.) Come and create your own unique memory of the North in knitted form. We will have prepared charts and knitted swatches of birds, animals, and landscapes, but if you want create your own design, bring your idea and a picture. We will work with you to translate it into a knit pattern. We will also have versions of the North House logo for your sweater. Your materials fee includes yarn for swatches and patterns to take home.
