Course Overview

Imagine pulling a tray of buttery, warm, homemade Danish pastries from your oven: oohs and ahs from your delighted family, pleas on behalf of every bake sale committee in town, standing ovations from houseguests…this could be in your future. After all, cookbook author Beatrice Ojakangas has even taught Julia Child how to make the flaky pastries without all of the rolling and folding typically associated with this type of pastry dough. While the dough is the focus, you’ll discuss fillings, glazes and other finishing touches in this one-day course. Bring an apron!
