This course in coastal navigation provides individual instruction for the Lake Superior boater. It offers a comprehensive classroom based overview of chart reading, using the mariner’s compass, dead reckoning, navigational skills, position determination, use of pertinent reference materials, and understanding and applying boating laws and regulations. An ideal learning opportunity for both the aspiring sailor and old salt hoping to brush up.
