In this course you will spend the day handcrafting enchanting Christmas ornaments combining a creative imagination and the skills of birch bark weaving with locally harvested materials including birch bark, dogwood, pine cones and other northern forest materials. Using designs you will have the opportunity to create birch bark stars, reindeers and angels, snowshoes, small wreaths and trees. Take home an ornament to share with a friend or family member. Better yet, take home the skills and continue exploring your new-found craft by making ornaments for all your friends!
