Easy to find and abundant to harvest, both cat-tails and cornhusks offer a nearly endless array of creative possibilities for kids and parents alike. In this special intergenerational offering, kids ages 5 to 105 are invited to join instructor Tina Fung Holder, and craft simple baskets, dolls (or superheroes), ornaments and other projects. Make your own toys, make your own fun, and share the joy of hands-on learning as a family. This course welcomes children 5 and up with an adult. Materials will be provided but you can bring any special fabrics, or trims you might wish to incorporate into your projects.
