Carving the Mörksuggan
Course Overview
The Mörksuggan, a creature from Swedish folklore, is a house-protecting spirit that anyone can make. In this course, students will carve, paint, and enchant their very own Mörksuggan or “dark pig” to protect their own home, or give as a gift. From the same region as the Dala Horse, the Mörksuggan will eat any ill-mannered spirits that dare enter the home she protects. This is a fun and easy introductory project with a great story to share. No experience necessary.
