Give that old wood-canvas a face-lift. This course is for wood-canvas canoe restoration projects that are ready to be canvassed and filled. The first day is devoted to strictly stretching and tacking canvas. The second day focuses on the filling process, a laborious but rewarding step prior to painting the hull. A project questionnaire will be sent to students upon registration and a phone conference with Jeanne or Peter before the class will cover canvassing needs. Participants are encouraged to work with a partner. Additional days may need to be scheduled for minor pre-canvas preparation.
