If you are only happy when you have your blacksmithing hammer in your hand, this course may be for you. Once you have encountered and mastered some of the basic techniques of blacksmithing, it's time to start developing your skills in new ways. This course is specifically designed for intermediate blacksmiths looking for that 'next challenge' - are you ready? Students will work on a project that they select and design themselves, a project specifically intended to expand their current skill level. Decorative grills, fireplace tools, lamps, railings, etc. Think creatively and stretch your limits. Following enrollment, students and instructor will connect by phone to finalize project plans. Students are required to bring the steel needed for the project they have in mind.
